HOLBEIN ARTISTS'GOUACHE pigment have been choosen for exceptional saturation and ability to mix freely without loss of brilliance, opacity or huge value in combination with other colors. The color selection will always give consistent reliable results without darkening or muddiness. The colors will not bleed or crack and offer absolute opacity when laid one over the other. The mat surface will be fragile, however and scratching or rubbing should be avoided.
